Local Actions

If you cannot make it to Washington, there are a number of other ways to help. You can of course Donate, you should definitely get your phones ready for the Phone Slam, and you can organize a local action. You don't need a lot of people to have an impact. Cheryl and Jim often picketed by themselves. Visit your congressperson's office to thank them for supporting medical marijuana by cosponsoring HR 2233, or to ask them to do so if they haven't. You can find other ideas for local actions on the Americans for Safe Access website.
